NDR Lighting is a privately owned lighting manufacturer based in Montreal, Quebec. We have been manufacturing high quality lighting products for over 35 years. Our strategy throughout North America is to deliver quality, innovative and value driven products that surpass options currently in the marketplace. We service the residential and commercial markets with interior and exterior LED lighting into the electrical distribution channel.

NDR Lighting is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join its expanding team in its head office in Montreal. We are looking for a candidate that is passionate, creative and hands-on in the product development process.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the role of an Associate Product Manager or Project Coordinator. Strong communication skills are required to communicate in English with our sales and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to new & innovative LED solutions. Bring forward new ideas.
• Work with our product development team and our engineers in China on new projects.
• Manage and maintain the data integrity during the product development process.
• Manage and organize all product files including drawings, catalogs, pricing, testing results and reports.
• Work closely with the Product Manager and the Marketing team on product literature including packaging, instruction sheets and marketing materials in print and digital formats.
• Successfully communicate project timelines.
• Participate as the product expert in sales presentations and customer service training.
• Competitive research analysis to provide comparable tools for our sales team.
• Preparation of reports and presentations for customer and management meetings.
• Special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of product management or project coordination experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (French and Mandarin would be an asset)
• Ability to learn quickly and be a subject matter expert in a constantly changing market
• Bachelor’s degree (Business would be an asset)
• Technical background (construction, engineering or industrial design would be an asset)
• Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook required
• Adobe, CAD, Solid Works would be an asset
• Experience working with lighting products, electrical products, or SMART products would be an asset

Compensation and title are commensurate with experience.

You will report to the Product Manager.
